I shot this photo at a Pioneer High School football game, my old amamater. It has been good shooting for Times Media Inc. But, honestly, I don’t feel like I can stay her much longer. First of all, the pay is incredibly low. Everyone has to pay their dues. Recently they credited someone else’s photo to me, and they used one of my photos in an ad without asking me. Our owner is letting it all fall apart while making some crazy decisions. I kind of feel like I better get out before it tarnishes my reputation. I really like working with one of our editors, Diego Abeloos. He’s a quality guy, and I’d shoot games for him for free. So I’ll probably keep shooting with him, but he can’t wait to get out of here either.
My career is headed in so many directions, and none of those directions is toward a newspaper. I guess God’s got other ideas.

This Blog will be deicated to tracking the development of my professional work. As requested by my cousin who has gone ahead of me in the business I will keep CURRENT posts of what I SEE on the job, hence the name of the blog.
